Photographed at the Lincoln Park Zoo during winter holiday season ZooLights display. Lincoln Park Zoo opened gates to the public in 1868 and is one of Bart's many spots to take his couples for engagement and wedding portraits. What makes this spot attractive is its close proximity to Bart's other favorite spots, like the Peoples Gas Education Pavilion, South Pond Nature Walk and North Avenue Beach, as well as having downtown view of the city as the backdrop.
Engagement portrait session is a big part of the wedding photography coverage. It creates memorable and beautiful images of the couple that can be used, among other things, for the save the date cards and display prints at the wedding. It also serves as a great way of getting to know the photographer who on the other hand will learn about couple's personalities, likes and dislikes. After all, just like the bridal party, the photographer will be with the couple for the majority of their wedding day.
This engagement image was taken with Bart's favorite, newest edition, Nikon 70-200mm 2.8E FL ED VR lens on a D4 body. Off camera LED tungsten light was added from the left to illuminate the couple.
